Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how M&M Jewellery uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use mandmjewellery.com.

M&M Jewellery is operated by Melissa Louis, trading as M&M Jewellery and mandmjewellery.com.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, mobile phone or other device when you visit a website. They are widely used to help websites work properly, operate more efficiently and remember certain information about your visit.

We may also use similar technologies that store or access information on your device. For simplicity, we refer to all of these technologies as "cookies" in this policy.

2. How we use cookies

Our website is powered by Shopify. We currently use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and provide our online store.

These may be used to:

• enable essential website functionality;
• keep our website secure;
• remember items in your shopping basket;
• support the checkout and payment process; and
• remember certain preferences during your visit.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar third-party analytics or advertising services. If we introduce these or other non-essential technologies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie settings as appropriate.

3. Essential cookies

Some cookies are strictly necessary for our website and online store to function properly. For example, cookies may be needed to allow you to add items to your basket, proceed through checkout or maintain the security of the website.

Because these cookies are necessary to provide services you have requested, they cannot normally be switched off through our website's cookie controls. You may be able to block them through your browser settings, but this may affect the way our website functions.

4. Non-essential cookies

We may introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies in the future for purposes such as:

• understanding how visitors use our website;
• measuring website performance;
• improving our products and services; or
• providing relevant advertising or marketing.

Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

If you give your consent, you will be able to change your preferences or withdraw your consent through our cookie settings, where available.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies in several ways.

Where our website provides cookie preference controls, you can use these to manage your preferences for non-essential cookies.

Most web browsers also allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website and some features may not work as intended.

For more information about managing cookies, please refer to the help or settings section of your browser.

6. Customers outside the United Kingdom

M&M Jewellery is based in the United Kingdom, but we may provide our products and services to customers in other countries, including the United States and Canada.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights or choices regarding cookies and similar technologies under applicable local laws. We will seek to provide appropriate information and choices where required.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, the technologies we use or applicable legal requirements.

For example, we may update this policy when we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies.

Any updated version will be posted on this page, and we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the policy.
